this notice explains what dm.samanthabaio.com ("the app," "we," "us") collects when you use it, how we use it, and the choices you have. the app is operated by ovo talent on behalf of samantha baio. by using the app you agree to this notice. if you don't agree, please don't use the app.

who can use the app

the app is for adults only. you must be at least 18 years old to create an account or subscribe. we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and we will delete it if we learn we have.

what we collect

we collect:

• account info — your email address, and your name or username where you provide it.
• payment info — billing details and payment metadata handled by our payment processors. we never see or store your full card number.
• your messages and activity — the messages you send inside the app, what you unlock or tip, and basic usage data like when you log in.
• device and technical data — ip address, browser type, and cookie / device identifiers needed to keep you logged in and the app secure.

how we use it

we use your information to:

• deliver your subscription and process payments;
• let you and samantha message inside the app, including replies and content sent on samantha's behalf (see "how messaging works" in our terms);
• send you product, billing, and support emails or notifications;
• keep the app secure and prevent fraud and abuse;
• comply with our legal obligations.

we do not sell your personal information.

cookies and similar tech

we use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the app is used. you can control cookies through your browser settings, but some parts of the app may not work properly without them.

who we share it with

we share information only with service providers who help us run the app, and only as needed to do so:

• whop and stripe — payments and billing;
• supabase — database, authentication, and storage;
• vercel — website hosting;
• resend and twilio — email, sms, and messaging notifications.

each provider has its own privacy policy. we may also share information if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users, samantha, or the public.

how long we keep it

we keep your information for as long as your account is active and as long as we need it to provide the app, meet legal and tax obligations, and resolve disputes. when we no longer need it, we delete or anonymize it.

your rights

depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to opt out of certain uses, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. residents of california (ccpa/cpra) and the eu / uk (gdpr) have these rights. to make a request, email hi@samanthabaio.com. we may need to verify your identity first, and we'll respond within the time the law requires.

security

we use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. no system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security, but we work to keep your data safe.

changes to this notice

we may update this notice from time to time. when we do, we'll change the "last updated" date above, and for significant changes we'll give you additional notice where required.
